Adult

The Marshfield Branch of the Webster County Library has several opportunities for adults to show their creative side through in person craft classes. The goal of the adult craft classes are to have fun, create something special, learn a new technique, and enjoy the process. 

Adult Craft - Get crafty at your local library! Join us once a month for craft night. Registration is required.

Adult Crochet BasicsLearn crochet basic with us! We will provide you with supplies to get you started. Registration is required.
Every Thursday, 10:00am - 11:00am

Adult Inclusion Craft - We invite adults with developmental disabilities to join us monthly for a fun craft. Registration is required.

Cover to Cover Adult Book Club - Meets monthly for a refreshing discussion of a novel with an occasional non-fiction title thrown in for fun. No vacancy as of right now, please call 417-468-3335 to check if there is a vacancy.

MahjongWebster County residents can learn and play on Thursdays at the library! All skill levels are welcome.

Memory Minders - Join us at the Library for an interactive Alzheimer's and Dementia support program using Reminiscence Kits and other resources. Event occurs every fourth Tuesday of the month at 1 pm. Facilitated by Chris Parker.

Youth

Children and teens can explore their artistic side with the many opportunities for imaginative craft classes, STEAM, take and make crafts, and special presentations throughout the year at the Webster County Library.

Homeshool Social Time - Hang out with other homeschoolers at the library! Board games and craft supplies will be available for attendees.

Kid Craft - Learn different modeling techniques while making your own personal magnets! We will be making one food and one animal themed magnet. Participants are encouraged to show up to class with an idea of what food and animal they would like to make. Registration is required.

Make-It STEAM! - Find out the construction techniques used by engineers and builders to make structures more stable against earthquakes! Build your own structure with provided materials using what you learn. Then, see if your building will be able to withstand a small simulated earthquake. Registration is required.

Take and Make Crafts - Visit the library to grab our take and make crafts for all ages! You can find them at our front desk. Different craft every other week.

Teen Craft - Learn the basket weaving technique while discovering ways to make baskets out of recycled materials! Registration is required.
